Connections Hard

Connections Hard

Twenty words, five groups and the same four mistakes. The fifth group is orange and it is the sneakiest one.

Hard mode adds a fifth group to the board. More words means more overlaps: a word that looks perfect for one group is often the key to another.

The colours still go from the most obvious group (yellow) to the most devious one, with orange sitting above purple. Solve the easy groups first to thin out the board.

How to play

  1. Find groups of words that share something in common.

  2. Tap words to select them, then press Submit.

  3. Each wrong guess costs one mistake. “One away” means only one word is wrong.

  4. Groups can be categories, word play, things that go together or words that complete a phrase.
